Sweet and Sour Silhouette

Sweet and Sour Silhouette explores the similarities in the jovial, playful and creative forms of this dark sweet and sour “bat” wing dish and the superimposed silhouettes of the female form in both 3d and 2d in this Jeremy Scott look.

The mysterious quality of the wing dish allows the viewer to see different forms and they can connect the lines of the silhouette in the dress to lines seen in the dish. Each of these pieces creates a visual feast for the eyes and makes you want to know more about them. I love the contrast in the two very distinct finishes in each of these, the matte quality of the outfit next to the patent quality of the chicken and the boots. Both of these will always stand out and I think that is what their creators wanted.
